Missionary Work is the Best!

What up everyone?

This week was crazy and super good!  We said bye to Elder Szoke on Tuesday morning and got Elder Allen!  He's awesome and a super good missionary.  We worked really hard this week and really saw the fruits.  He's about to head home at the end of this transfer so he wants to finish strong!  Elder Smith was with us until Thursday so we had some more trio fun this week.

Highlight this week was Nicole's progression.  It has been so cool to see!  We had a powerful lesson with her this week and put her on date for baptism for May 16th.  She has been reading the Book of Mormon and asking us really good questions about it.  She also came to church and the ward members have been great with fellowshipping.  Keep her in your prayers that no road blocks come up!

Other than that we have just been super busy with finding and teaching.  We found some pretty solid people that we are excited to teach.  One guy is someone me and Elder Szoke found named Shane.  Me and Elder Szoke were walking and he just called out to us asking us what we do as missionaries.  We taught him the restoration right there and he was really receptive.  We gave him a Book of Mormon and when we followed up with him this week, he had read it!  We set up a lesson for Friday so hopefully that goes smoothly.

We also had a good lesson with the Warnbergs and the grandma, Pearl, was there this time.  Last time she was there she showed lots of interest but we weren't able to contact her since.  We had a good lesson and Pearl asked lots of great questions and even asked how she could join the church.  We set an appointment for tomorrow.  I'm pretty excited for that.

Missionary work is the best.  I love it.  It's so great to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ change people.  It makes all the hard times and rejection worth it.  I love you guys and hope you have a great week!
