What up everyone?? I hope you all had a great week! This week was pretty rough and super slow. Nothing much is going on here in Willamina. Elder Szoke and I have been working hard but no one we talk to is receptive at all. We have been really focusing on reactivating less active members. That has gone pretty well, actually. We are teaching less actives a lot! Hopefully, some will start coming to church soon!
Honestly, I don't know what to write, ha ha! We did service at Anthony's farm again which was a good time. He made us lunch again. He's ditching us for the YSA though, this week. Makes sense. He's 26 and has been coming to this old person ward for a few months now. The Warnbergs grandma wasn't there for our lesson. DANGIT! She better be here this week, ha ha!
Sorry this is a pretty lame email. Lots of rejection and stuff this week. I love reading Alma 26. It always gets me hyped to go out and preach the gospel and not get discouraged when we get rejected hard! Hopefully this week is better and we see some fruits from our labors!!
Love you all!

7 Weeks in Willamina
What up? This week was pretty good and it flew by super fast! We have already been here in Willamina 7 weeks and we still have at least 5 more! I'm loving it here and all the people, they're awesome. The work is again slowly but surely progressing and we're working hard.
One pretty cool miracle that happened this week was with the Warnbergs. We have been trying to figure out how we're going to get them all to church and progressing on the path. we've just been trying to build up our relationships with the kids. In our lesson on Tuesday, the mom's mom sat in. She lives with them, but never sits in. Well, after the lesson she said that if we explained Joseph Smith to her, that she would consider joining! So, we are going to do that this week and hopefully, this will open the door for Laura and the kids as well.
The homie, Anthony, got the Priesthood on Sunday! He's such a stud, he was so happy after he got it! We went over to his farm again this week. It's so sweet! We helped with different chores around the farm and then taught a lesson--good stuff.
Other than that, just the regular missionary grind. We are trying to find the prepared. I know the Lord will guide us as we diligently and faithfully serve.
Have a great week! I love you all!

No Trespassing!!
How's it going everyone?
I hope you all had a great week! The work is slowly but surely coming into place! Lots of teaching and a few solid investigators! Brandon is doing great. He has a friend on the east coast that is a member that has been helping answer his questions and everything. He is super open and wants to meet more often. It's crazy because the first time we met him, he was not interested at all and said we could come back just to be nice! But hey, he's our most solid investigator now!!
On Wednesday this week, we had to go to Salem because Elder Szoke had a cavity he needed to get filled. It was great--there was someone who cancelled their appointment so they offered to clean my teeth for free!! It was awesome! The dentist was a cool guy! Then, later that day we went out street contacting. It was super rainy and there was literally nobody outside. We decided to visit a former investigator nearby. We knock on the door and the lady is like, "What are you boys doing out here??? Nobody is supposed to be outside right now!!!" We were super confused. She told us that there was an armed burglar that escaped custody and the whole town of Willamina was on complete lock down lol! We eventually made it to the church safely.
Then, yesterday, we were going over to a lesson with a part member family we've been teaching. The road that led to their house was all gated off. We didn't have their number so we just assumed it'd be alright if we just opened the gates and drove to the Ray's. I open the first gate no problem. Then while I was opening the second gate a little bit farther down the road, I hear some yelling in the distance. I thought it was just some dude yelling at his dogs or something. The yelling got louder and louder and eventually I realize this dude is yelling at me ha ha ha. He was the Ray's neighbor but the dude was drunk, I'm pretty sure. He was not a happy man. He was just yelling every word in the book at me. He tried ripping off my name tag but he missed! Good times. We were eventually able to get out of there after about 5 minutes of getting chewed out for opening his gate.....oops hehehe.
That was the week! I love you guys so much and hope you all have a great week!
