Hope you all had a great week! This next week is gonna be so hype! Easter AND General Conference!! Woohoo! Also pretty sure baseball starts either this week or next-so go Cubs! Anyways, our week was pretty good out here in the sticks. We had exchanges this week so Elder Tyre came here with me. Good times.
We have definitely seen the Lord work through us this week. Last Monday, we got a referral from some sisters in the Portland mission of one of their recent convert's mom. So, we went over there that night, but that lady wasn't interested at all. As we were about to get back in the car, I see this girl across the street. The Spirit literally just pushed me to go talk to her. So, we go talk to her and it turns out, she is a former investigator that missionaries have been trying to contact for a while because she moved! She is still pretty interested so we are going to start teaching her.
Another story, kinda like the first. On Friday, after comp study, Elder Szoke and I said a prayer asking Heavenly Father where we should go. We both felt like we should go to Sheridan, so we got in the car and started heading that way. As we were leaving Willamina, Elder Szoke felt a prompting to go visit a potential that was on the way. We did, but the lady wasn't home. There was a guy in her apartment complex fixing up his car, so we went and talked to him. He was super cool and was pretty interested in our message! It's crazy how the Lord works!
