We Got Wrecked With Rain

Hey, what's up everyone?

Hope you all had a great week. This week was pretty good. Nothing too exciting happened but still a good week. Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty slow but we still taught a couple of lessons. It was raining so hard on those days so we just got wrecked with rain, ha ha. We made a trip down to south county and nobody we went there to visit was home so that was fun. Nice waste of miles!

The rest of the week was pretty busy. Thursday was really cool. We went and visited a man named Gregorio that we found all the way back in February. We haven't contacted him at all since then. We were going to drop him twice within the last couple months but both times we felt prompted that we needed to keep on trying and so we kept him. We finally contacted him and he invited us in! He had been reading the Book of Mormon we gave him last time and we taught him the Restoration. Wow, the Spirit was strong. The lesson went really well and we are having another lesson with him this week.

Friday we had zone conference out in McMinnville which is an hour and a half drive for us. On the way, the highway passed through Willamina and Sheridan so you already know we took a little detour. I'm sure Elder Alofipo was a little disappointed because I was talking it up pretty hard, but both Willamina and Sheridan are super tiny, old towns ha ha. Still amazing places! Zone Conference was awesome. We talked about PMG Chapter 11 which is my fav. Talks about helping people keep commitments. President called on us to do a role play in front of everyone. I was mad cause we always got called on as zone leaders so I thought I was free, but no!

Right after zone conference, we exchanged with Forest Grove 1st. It was pretty good. Not too much happened. I was with Elder Jackson from Houston.

Devanie dropped us this week which was sad. She feels like she isn't ready even thought she definitely is. Samara is doing really good. She came to church and has been reading and was able to recognize the Spirit for herself yesterday! It was a really good lesson. She has really good fellowshippers so that's real nice.

The rest of the people aren't doing anything and haven't for the past month so we might end of up dropping them which sucks. We will see how this week goes.

Today we are with the Spanish Elders from Forest Grove again. We went on a nice little hike that took us to a beach (don't worry we didn't go on the beach :-)
