Kaden's mission papers were submitted by our Stake President, President Barfuss, on May 14, 2017. We learned that his call had been assigned on May 26th and it came in the mail on June 1st--his graduation day! He waited until after graduation, at 9:30 pm, to open it. We had a house full of people including Grandma and Grandpa Butler, Zach and Nano, tons of Kaden's friends, a few of Brynn's friends and a few of Nano's family members (Vil, Kassi, MaLyla and Junior). Debbi and Diana were on the phone and Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, Katie, Avery and Andrew were on Facetime from Spanish Fork and Shannon, Tom, Dallin, Elise, Kiley, and Ashley (maybe others?) were on Facetime from Roseville, CA.
Kaden was so excited to open his call to the Oregon Salem Mission. He reports to the Provo MTC on Wednesday, July 19th! He does not have much time at all so we have been busy busy getting him ready. We are all so excited and proud of him.
Here is a short video clip of his graduation and mission call opening. Click here to view video
